Welcome to the September edition of our newsletter! We have a full month of story times, book clubs, crafts, movies, and special events for all ages.

Dinner with Newspapers
Tuesday, September 22nd
Time: 6:00 PM
Join us for dinner with newspapers, featuring special guest Tracy Carr. Enjoy an evening of strange, surprising, and entertaining stories from Mississippi’s newspaper past while sharing a dinner inspired by the pages of those same newspapers. The menu will feature classic Mississippi newspaper recipes – think comforting casseroles, vintage side dishes, and retro desserts straight from the recipe columns of the 1950s and ’60s. Attendance is free of charge, but preregistration is required. To reserve your spot, email Adam Singletary at adam@hpfc.lib.ms.us.
Petal Adult Painting

Come paint with us at the Petal Library! The Art Cottage will bring custom canvases, and we will paint while we enjoy mockmosas and muffins. This is an adult program, but teens are also welcome. To reserve your spot, email Brittany Tibbett at brittany@hpfc.lib.ms.us.
